2024 NSW State Field Championships - its a wrap!!
9/9/24
From the official opening by Alison Byrnes, Federal MP for Cunningham, through to the medal presentation by club president Diane and several members of the Archery NSW CoM at the close, it was a weekend of top level competition that clearly showcased the talent of the shooters, as well as the tremendous effort from our club members in preparing and delivering the event.
Special recognition and thanks go to our club members for their work to make the day such a success:
Fiona for organising and managing the entire shoot
Glen for providing an outstanding field course
Mark and Kelly for the excellent canteen service
Gordon for manning the BBQ
Of course, Illawarra Archers were well represented in the medal count!
Gold Medals to Fiona, Lachlan, Brian, Glenn, Marilyn, John H, Chris, and Con
Silver Medals to Melissa-Ann, and John C
Bronze Medals to Alan, Andris, and Mick
