All Bow Team Challenge

The Illawarra All Bow Team Challenge is open to any 4-person team of mixed archers to a fun day of competing on the range. The teams must have one each of compound, sighted recurve, barebow recurve, and longbow archers. And, of course, a great team name!

The teams compete over two rounds of different distances, with the separate disciplines grouped together while their other team members, and any others in the open gallery, cheer their archers on. There may, at completely inappropriate times, be some high spirited comments and coaching suggestions and observations for opposing team members. Team scoring is combined off bow.

The details:

Round 1: 3 ends of 6 arrows each:

Compound - 60m

Sighted Recurve - 50m

Barebow Recurve - 40m

Longbow - 30m

BBQ Lunch

Round 2: 3 ends of 6 arrows each:

Compound - 50m

Sighted Recurve - 40m

Barebow Recurve - 30m

Longbow - 20m

Presentations

The emphasis is on fun for archers and their supporters, with lunch included.

Rules:

· Scoring is off-bow.

· Each team must have a team name

· Each archer in a team must compete in only one discipline

· A club may enter more than one team, however all members of each team must belong to the same club

· Associate members may compete on a club team, but can only compete for one team

· Cheering and good-natured heckling encouraged
