Illawarra Archers is committed to providing a place for children that is safe, and where children always have a voice.

One of the initiatives of the NSW Office of the Children's Guardian (OCG) is the Child Safe Scheme, which encourages organisations including Illawarra Archers to implement a number of policies and take efforts to achieve specific standards regarding child safety.

Our club has ratified policies that are aligned with the aims of the OCG. Listed below are the policies we have ratified.

When we started working on this, we developed two documents that summarise the Child Safe Scheme standards and recommended policies.
