Learning Archery at Illawarra Archers has been updated.

04/07/2024

In the June Ordinary General Meeting, Club members approved changes to our courses. We have started a new Introduction to Archery session (based on a combination of the the Come-and-Try session and the first day of the Beginners Course), with some changes to duration and content. The Introduction to Archery is now a pre-requisite for attending the Beginners Course. Updates to the Beginners Course have been made to reflect the pre-requisite Introduction to Archery, with the biggest change being to move to two sessions for the Beginners Course (down from the current timetable of 3 days)

Beginning in August, an Introduction to Archery course will be held early in the month, and then attendees who wish to continue on their archery journey with Illawarra Archers will be welcome to book into the Beginners Course sessions later in the month.

For people new to archery, completion of the Introduction to Archery (one session), followed by the Beginners Course (two sessions), are required for application for club membership.
